Maybe it's just me, but I found that to be very cool.
It looks like the major growth is over though. Also I couldn't tell if it was tracking when stores closed, or only when they opened. Watching it reminded me a lot of the game of life, which is probably appropriate if one considers Wal-Mart an entity unto itself.
I really enjoyed it to. Visualization of data is definitely helping to turn data sets into great learning experiences and some are even entertaining :-)
