We are taking Seamus to the Tennessee Aquarium on Friday. A colleague took this shot at the NC Aquarium at Morehead City. Several at the leadership program thought it was Bizarre that I was so interested in getting this picture of myself :-) How could you pass an opportunity like this up ;-)
Last week we needed snow gear. Today it was 75F and sunny. We had to break out the hats and short sleeves. Seamus has fun regardless of weather or anything else for that matter.
On the way to a Mexican Restaurant ... Seamus sports an I.M.B.A. hat. It is only a matter of time.
I am participating in Leadership North Carolina. A year long professional development program covering economic development, education, health care, government, and environment. On this last trip we got to see the da Vinci surgical robot. I even got to try it out on a training module. They didn't let me use it on anything that was alive :-) Incredible piece of machinery (1.7 million dollars worth). 12% of all heart surgeries are now conducted with this software/hardware.
We are almost finished moving Seamus to his new room and Christine's office into his old room. I had to disassemble his crib for the move and he assisted in the reassembly.
Seamus doesn't really mind the cold weather much at all. He has also recently taken a liking to his sunglasses again. The other night he insisted on wearing them to the grocery store! The other customers got a kick out of it anyway. (Christine took these while she got him out of the house for a while)
