nclive has a tool like this for its databases. very interesting way of looking at information for those of us who are visual.

Ah alas, I fear I am doomed to roam the nine levels of Hell that are Educational Research like some gen-x Voltaire. Notice how those information matrixes tend to spiral into these infinite fractals of facts, figures, and pseudo-related bits of information? Well, somewhere between your course evaluations and FTE reports I sit. If you squint your eyes real tight, you can see me there, busily cranking out spreadsheets and scatter grams.
